I think its meaning gets deeper by the day.
The photo itself, is one I took over 20 years ago that has always been precious to me. It was shot on film, and I hand processed it. I always just loved the colors and light.
The lock is on a gate that leads to a beach. Behind you can see the sand and waters of the lake.
When I joined here the image of the chain kind of resonated with my head space and intention. It still does but now for me it is more about promises than limitations. A lock promises to keep something safe. It is also seen as necessary when we have something precious that wants keeping safe. But any lock can be opened. So it also holds potential.
or its a bondage thing...

The most nostalgic date I ever had was during the Winter. Snow was already on the ground. We took picnic food and his truck up on a strip mining road high on the mountain.
We let the tailgate down to sit and have our snacks. And then it began snowing again. And we finished up playing in the snow and making snow angels.
It was just a great time with many smiles and laughs. While also having a beautiful background to make it feel more magical.
