Thoughts Neighborhood Q&A

It would have to be Norma Jeane Mortenson. ( marilyn monroe). Why? Because despite her rough childhood she still turned out to be an amazing actress and role model. She changed the way people viewed women's sexuality.
Wow @Oldgymrat thank you for those detailed, thoughtful, and insightful answers:) I look forward to asking you more questions in the future. Thanks for playing!
My pleasure @AlexWS thanks for the questions...

Besides... after @Mixedgirl answered the way she did i couldn't afford to half ass mine and look like a dullard...theres depth to that woman

@Keira
What’s your definition of heaven?
Being with the people I love..happiness..no fears or concerns..just peace..

What animal would be the most terrifying if it could speak?

Cats..can you imagine the judgement o_O

How do you deal with someone who you are not attracted to that is making advances on you?

Depends on the advances..are they being pushy? Because then I'll make myself clear that I'm not the one..if they're just being flirty then it's harmless..either way I try to be decent about it..

What’s the worst example of curiosity killing the cat you’ve seen?

Can't think of a specific example..but how about people who always want what they don't have..who always look for more and are never satisfied..and in the end end up with nothing.. probably not the type of answer you meant..but it's where's my mind went..

If you had a time machine, would you go back in time or visit the future?

Past..lots of great memories and people I miss..

Do you watch porn with your partner?

What random stranger has had the biggest impact on your life?

What’s the best thing you could tell someone to cheer them up when they are feeling down?

Who do you think of first when you think of success?

What’s about to get much better?

Enjoy!

If i had a partner here with me i probably would. Why not

There is actually 2 strangers that changed my life, one is here @VintageVixen who i love dearly and another one i met 2 years ago who i now consider as my sister.

I can't think of an answer of what to say to someone to cheer them up. I will react differently with people depending on how much i know them. but i often tend to be
silly when i want to cheer people up.

The first name that comes to mind is my best friend Marc.
He's the one that showed me the rope to running your own business and showed me to never be afraid to take risk.
We are often partners in many projects.

So far i can't complain with my life in general but if something could get better it would be if distances could get shorter by miracle. :p:cool:

Thanks for the answers man I am sure I will have more questions for you layer. Vivia le Canada.

@Bennettrose
Do you see to believe or believe to see?

What’s going to be the next retro thing that comes back into popularity?

If you could spend an entire day with me, how would it look?

What scientific discovery would change the course of humanity overnight if it was discovered?

What do you think the greatest invention is in your lifetime and why?

Enjoy!

First of all, I wouldn't set an alarm clock the evening before. Even if I'm pretty much sure I'll end up not being able to sleep past what would have been the alarm clock anyways... Sigh...

I would skip work, and make myself a relaxed day. Lazy breakfast, reading newspaper. I honestly can't tell right now if I would call/visit a few people I really care about for a casual chat or just prepare a letter for them for after I'm gone. To make sure they know I love them, that I had a happy life and that it was because of them. I've always failed to do that somehow. I wouldn't in any case let them them know or even give a hint in that direction before. The 2 things I dislike most is being in the center of attention and being pitied /sulk in self pity. I'd get something really nice to eat and drink, also two major sources of joy throughout my whole life.
Finally, I'd find some good excuse to be alone and write an epic essay that will change life of generations to come. Or post some last nudes on Fcn. Or watch storage wars Canada, aka the best show ever. I haven't really decided it yet :D
WRONG. You’d spend it in bed with me, cheese, and wine

I'm so very lucky to have gotten to know you better. You are one of the most amazing, patient, kindest souls I've had the chance to meet. ❤️ In the same breath one of the most riskiest and ambitious too.

@Spykoinc what is something you're dying to try and do, but haven't yet?

@Oldgymrat what is your favorite Asimov novel or series? I feel like we have a lot of common ground in the SciFi space so really curious to know what you’re into.

@FireflyEyes what is your favorite poem or poet? I know that’s pretty broad question but curious to know what words you hold close to your heart.
Oh dear lord all of them…too broad indeed.

First favorite poet: A.A Milne -> Poem: Now we are six (which I was read when I was five and it left me in awe of all the possibility the rest of my life had in store…oh when I am six, I’ll be as clever as clever, and I think I’ll stay six forever and ever…is what five-year old me believed)

From there…Shel Silverstein, Dr Seuss, all the Williams…basically any poet whose name was William…Blake, Shakespeare, Carlos Williams…that list goes on a bit. The angry American… “I’ve seen the best of my generation fucked in the ass”… name’s gone out of my head. But his cadence was so exciting for me, I think the Beat poets were pretty awesome in general.
Milton. I read Paradise Lost aloud with a circle of friends during university…that was an intense experience, that really shifted my love of verse and poetry.
Eminem. His use of meter and cadence is also very Beatian I think, and I just love it.

Oh Poe… the more I think about this question the more I realize…I should probably have stopped at Milne.:D

I think I Robot, Foundation and The end of eternity... loved Fantastic Voyage... countless other short stories...

Favorite series would be Frank Herbert's Dune and the series... I think if you look there you will see the basis and template for 50% or more of all recent space fi movies...

And I still.giggle everytime a door opens on the old Enterprise...lol

@Dirkthedaring
Would you still like a girl if she was a foot taller than you?

What period in history had the best fashion?

What did you learn recently that changed the way you live?

What question have you always wanted to ask, but were too afraid of looking stupid?

Do You Like Staying In Or Going Out?
