Nothing, everything that's happened so far has led me to you so i wouldn't change a thing :)
If i really had to change something though, would probably just leave winning lottery tickets from the future on past me's desk because....yay money.

Thank you, @SubSoph , I have enjoyed photography for many years, so experience might be a big part of it. I also use a DSLR and have access to post-shoot software. So, I cheat in terms of cropping, and adjusting colour saturation etc but…

Yes, I have talked a bit about taking a photo before, when @PoliteandNaughty asked, you can see it here.

But I think two lessons from my high school days are a big influence. My creative writing teacher would drill into us, “Show, don’t tell”. Of course, there is something you want your audience to know, but don’t tell them what it is… The second was my photography teacher who would drill into us “Don’t show me, let me find it” and “Don’t show me, delight me”. Before she would look at any of our work, she would take the photo face down on the desk, look us in the eye and say "Is this going to delight me?" How many times a week would we hear those words! Often we would take the photo back from her without letting her look at it. Rather than have her glance at is for 0.05 seconds before tossing it in our face :oops: Again, when we take a photograph is it because there is something, we want someone to see. But I think it should be more than that. It's not just "look at this"...if that makes sense.

But you know this, and do it so delightfully. As many people do. From teasy shadows to fuzzy fingers, carefully cropped or hidden bulges and filtered grins. There are so many talented photographers among us, weaving little tales to tickle the eyes and other senses ;)

(You are one, if I could get you in front of my lens I think you would be so much fun to photograph)

Nice question outside of my parents which is self explanatory. I had a baseball coach teach me hard work, team work, unselfishness as well as a spiritual advisor. I had an older gentleman that was my business advisor, I actually bought one of my businesses from him. His advice was simple, work hard save your money. (Love Your Smile by the Way)

That sound lovely is always nice to have a mentor who is older and have experience
life a bit some off my most value lessons in life and conversations in life was with people older than me. (And thank you ;))
