it should be so simple to get a copy of your certified birth certificate but nope... plus it's annoying that the dmv wants my certified birth certificate and can't take the one I have because california is fucked in the head and wants to change shit and now I had to pay to get a copy of it but first I have to print out a form and have a notary public be present and sign and date it and then submit that to the place and then they will process my order to get me my copy which could take some time too ugh all because I want a damn REAL ID so I am able to travel and do all that jazz

before the whole REAL ID stuff came out the dmv could take any birth certificate you had but now it's like nope we want a copy of the original so we know that you are who you say you are. Had I lived in Los Angeles County I could have just gone to the office and got one the same day but noooo I am like 4 hours from there. Government needs to leave things alone like why can't my regular ID/DL be fine to use to show who i am and it worked for getting onto airplanes like the only difference for the REAL ID it has the state bear of California on the top of it so it's like really??

California is annoying as fuck tbh and Los Angeles County is fucked in the head with being so strict on wanting your copy of your birth c like do you really need people to get a notary public to sign off on this thing like i gave you so much info on who i am needing my copy and yet that's still not good enough info? In simple terms: the person who does that watches me sign the official paper to make it legal and prevent fraud. Like man do you want me to make you dinner as well and clean your house or what?

it's annoying but once I get that notarized form done and submit it then it could take like 2-4 weeks for me to get it or even longer 3-4 weeks depending on how busy it is and it's the holiday times so ya for me I probably will have to do the dmv stuff in January.
