Thoughts Tip of the day

Okay my tip is about shampoo and conditioner.
Did you know that shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair are the only ones that have UV filters in them?

So even though if you don't have coloured hair, it's better to use this type.

I’ve got a nice wee tip for in the kitchen. If your making a beef stew, make a little extra gravy and put it into single portion sizes and freeze it. Take it out and defrost it when having steak. Cook the steak, leave it to rest for 10 mins. Cook some shallots and sliced mushrooms in the pan and remove when softened. Deglaze the pan with some brandy or whisky , add the sauce along with the mushrooms and shallots for a quick delicious sauce that tastes like you’ve Slaved over it for hours.

Sounds like marketing b.s.

How often are you out in the sun for an extended period of time?

That's a terrible argument to justify the use of such products.

To achieve a meaningful level of protection from UV, you'd need nearly or closer to 100% blockage

Lol. There's no negativity.

An "argument" doesn't necessarily mean a heated disagreement regarding One's position against another.

Your hair is already damaged if you dye it. Over time, color will fade naturally as a result of exposure to oxygen, daily pollutants, washing, new hair growth, inability for some strands to retain the coloring, etc...

Use a simple/cheap conditioner to maintain a desired level of moisture in your hair and you'll be fine.

I've got a tip for yummy healthy chips...

Take any vegetable e.g. potatoes, carrots, parsnips, sweet potato, celeriac... in fact any root vegetable... peel, rinse, chop into chip sized chunks and dry them. Spray with fry-lite and sprinkle with freshly ground salt and pepper. Arrange them separately on baking trays and pop in the upper half of the oven on a high heat for around 30 mins (or until soft in the middle). Turn once during roasting. Delish and low fat chips!

Hello everyone.

I thought I would make a thread where we could all share little tips on everyday life. Let's help each other out a little.

So if you have a tip or trick which will help others, please share it.

Thank you.
Haha I guess mine is useless unless you work in the steel industry... but a fellow told me today, keep soap Stone with you at all times because even thou you work in the office you might have to mark on some metal.
