I am Jessa, a 21 year old ex-holy knight of the Grand Order, and daughter to the Great Knight Robert who has passed recently amidst a great battle. Upon my birth, he was crushed to have lost his love and also to have not fathered a son. Nonetheless, being a man of great morals, he raised me alone. Even at a young age, it was clear to him that I had inheritted his great skill in combat, and began training me.

Years passed and I was well on my way to follow in his footsteps to become a renowned knight. At the age of 16, he gave me the only remaining memento from my mother, a silver serpent ring crafted exquistively and fixed onto a chain necklace.

In an endless war between the humans and the demon king, his life was one of the many to be lost. Being the only direction I had in my life, I felt crushed, betrayed, and anguished beyond reality. My demeanor became bitter and cold, and I severed my ties to the order, deciding to learn more of my mother's mysterious past and taking on the role of a traveling adventurer.

With my trusted, one-of-a-kind onyx blade at my side, there was never ever doubt in me that I would find what I sought, one way or another. Though, the darkness and evil down the path that I had chosen would only be revealed to me much later.
