Seems to be my case here. How can I get myself unmuted?

I don't seem to be able to chat. I can see all the chats in the room and can click on a person and do Private Message. But I doubt if my messages get through. I receive absolutely no response. The same on the room chat too. I even created a new I'd - the one I'm posting from.
