Update...Tried it with MS Edge on both Mac laptops, so it appears it's maybe a Mac "thing"? Has to be a recent update because the cams worked fine until a few days ago. Any thoughts?

Update...i've duplicated the issue on another Mac and I've alternated browsers to Brave and Chrome with similar result; in Brave and Chrome, instead of a static gray box, the "video screen" shows a spinning black circle, but never any video.
