To make it short: I'm neurodivergent (diagnosed) with a few but very close friends in RL at this point and with pretty bad social anxieties, which makes connecting with new people from face to face quite difficult for me. Therefore, here's a little crash course regarding that matter: Being introverted and shy are not the same thing. Sure, you can be both, but you can just as easily be one WITHOUT the other. Some can even be shy, even though they are extremely extroverted. In short, it simply means that when you are shy, you are basically afraid of doing something wrong in front of other people. Being an introvert, on the other hand, simply means that you feel drained more quickly in the presence of others, even friends and family, and you need and prefer more time alone to relax and recharge.
Therefore: Me being introvert =/= Me being shy at all!
