I'm alright.. hanging in there with my own health stuff but also last summer my mom was diagnosed with a terminal disease which is ALS so it's been hard watching her struggle and just fade away slowly..

Wow I'm so sorry to hear that, that has to be extremely hard. My mother is having issues of her own. She will turn 80 this summer and her memory and mobility is getting increasingly worse.

Yeah it's hard for sure. It sucks because I don't want to lose my mom, but it's life but out of everything my mom has been through in her life like she has to go out with a horrible disease.. not sure if you're familiar with ALS or know much. My mom is only 62 but ya it's heartbreaking to see her like that. I'm sorry to hear your mom isn't doing well either

I have met Brett's mom so far on three occasions. She is a very sweet and caring lady. It is easy to see why he is the warm, caring person that he is.

I am familiar with ALS and know it is a terrible, crippling disease.

I lost my birth mother to cancer at the age of 7. Thankfully, I was taken in by a kind and gentle adopted mother that has raised me to become the woman I am today.

Aww well his mother raised him to be a good man for sure but yes it's a very horrible disease and it sucks for sure. But I'm sorry to hear that but glad you were adopted by a great woman.

Brett (Hoz if it isn't obvious, lol) is an amazing guy. He treats me better than anyone else ever has. We have been dating now for 4 and a half months and we have yet to have even a single argument. I absolutely love and adore him.

Well I'm glad to hear that and happy he found someone who loves and treats him good as well. I remember how things were for him in the beginning on this site since I've been around here since 2017.

We first met on this site in October 2020, shortly after I joined. I knew right away that he was unlike any other man I came across on here. We live only 35 minutes apart, but my own insecurities prevented us from meeting in person sooner. Things have far exceeded my expectations, and my lone regret was not allowing myself to meet him when he first asked me 3 years ago. Thankfully, he was persistent, lol.

Now this is a pleasant conversation to read while first waking up.
