here's a radical idea: everyone gets treated the same, despite gender, race, religion, political affiliation, and whatever other little boxes our so-called betters like to put us in so we keep clawing at each other to get the upper hand, instead of actually keeping the lords (and ladies) of dunghills in check. Categories remind me of dividers; united we stand together, or divided we fall.

I’d love if everyone got treated equally but it just doesn’t seem to be happening. Totally wish I could fix that!

@youngbustyredhead exactly; i've never seen anyone babble about an international men's day. Sexist femmes are just as bad as sexist men. ~shrugs~ it's an imperfect world, alas.

@ThePyrate not to pit men vs. women (we both know girls are better then boys, lol) but I dare say that there are differences in how men are celebrated through out the world and how women are. Forget celebrated, just the treatment is different. I need to go through a safety check list before heading out. Do I have my cell, do I have my pocket pepper spray, is my sports bra showing too much.

I know guys just go out and enjoy their run.
Also I don’t see any harm in lifting up and giving a voice to people and groups. I feel the same about Pride month which I know a good number of people find horrible and reprehensible. If people have issues with these sorts of things, it could be a “you” problem and not a “me” problem…oh and not saying you directly!!
