Good evening, love. We turned on the air conditioner today, as Brett was hoping we could get by on fans to keep energy costs low. I finally told him I would gladly pay him an exrra $40 if necessary to keep us from sweltering, lol.
Sure, i understand that. I've dealt with summer-like temps in which i had to keep my a/c unit running constantly. Turned my apartment into an ice-box and pretty much never left. lol
It had become stifling in the living room. Even the cats seemed to seek comfort by retreating to a higher platform on their play tower. Now things are much more comfortable.
I'm sure it was and I don't doubt that the cats did that. When abbie was around, she pretty much stayed under the bed, laid next to the tub, or even in it to stay cool. She also didn't mind my running the shower on her, as she understood that i was helping and not punishing her by doing so.
Brett is upstairs at the moment or else I would ask him myself. I am not very adept when it comes to cats or cat breeds. I never was around a cat at any point growing up in either house, or even when I lived with my birth mother. I did have a pet rabbit when I was a child.
Sasha is a mackerel tabby. Neela I am uncertain. I was told when I first got her that she was a bluepoint Siamese, but she more resembles a Russian Blue.
I was dating another girl at the time I got both cats. Neela was named by my ex-gf after a character in one of the Fast and the Furious movies. Sasha we just thought up together after 2 weeks of back-and-forth.
That is also very kind of you, Alora. Did you mean to write that response in the thread above this one, though? It seems somewhat out of place in this conversation.
