Heh that happened in 2022 actually, where I came down with Covid during a paid vacation from work, which I ended up spending at home.

A week's stay in a summer beach house with just me and Alora... I can't think of much of anything that could top that.

It's okay, Colin. Being isolated and outside a small town, none of us got Covid vaccines. I guess we all thought we weren't going to catch it. We were sick as dogs for a week but we all turned out just fine.

Thats good. Just as a precaution, i got three separate shots. But i also stayed home most of the time during the various outbreaks in my area.

That's good. None of us are anti-vax or anything like that. We just didn't think it would ne necessary.

I didn't either, but i had to get the shots first to even come out to my moms to visit, as she was extremely paranoid during that time and wouldn't let anyone inside the house.

That's understandable. The pandemic was quite a scary time for a lot of people.

Yeah, shes in her mid 80's so i don't blame her for setting that boundary up.
