I feel like there isn't nearly enough basketball talk on here. Let's talk favorite players/teams, finals predictions, ect.!
Ehhhh, dont get me wrong! Kobe was an amazing player and will always be a legend...but he is definitely not the g.o.a.t! Between MJ and LBJ for sure..
I'll go with Lebron. Apart from the ball handling, shooting, defending etc. Skills he's got that one skill which is that of being a true team leader and a team builder too. I feel like he knows which player has which special skill set and how to utilise it with great effect. His energy on the court is matched by very few even to this date when he's 36! Defo the GOAT for me.
Too bad LBJ injured his ankle a few games ago. Hope he recovers in time or else the Lakers would find it really tough competing in the playoffs! Plus they don't even have the services of Anthony Davis right now who's recovering from an injury. I'm hoping Andre Drummond's inclusion in the team would prove to be a good move and help them in a substantial way. What's your prediction for the finals, Megsy?
LeBron is a healthy guy, he'll recover nicely and they said he'd only be out like a month-ish which isnt horrible. AD is still young he'll be fine too lol. Drummond will do just fine with the lakers. Anyone with the ability to put the ball in the basket with any consistency would be a good fit with the Lakers at this point. My finals prediction is Nets and Lakers ofc..and I say Lakers in 7. Hbu?
Hopefully they all get fit and the Lakers get back to being a team with their full strength. If that happens then my prediction is with you. If not then 6ixers/Nets vs Blazers/Clippers I feel the blazers are a very under rated team but they got the ability to surprise any opponent on their day! That Damn Lizzard (Damian Lillard lol) is too hard to defend i feel and he basically has the has the similar leadership qualities like LBJ, my gut tells me.
Gotta be MJ....The league is so watered down now...To many good players spread out across the league. His athleticism and desire to win was and is unmatched.
I agree that the blazers are a very underrated team and lillard is just underrated in general but I dont believe he has what it takes to take it all the way if I'm being quite honest with ya. Philly has a pretty solid team but joel gets hurt like every week and simmons is well simmons lol if anything I'd say the heat has a better chance at making it than philly does.
Heat eh... Used to be my fav team when the Big 3 played together (LBJ, Wade & Bosh). The co-ordination between LBJ and Wade was so good to see! And then the addition of Ray Allen to that mix was like the icing on the cake. Loved that team. Now they're okayish but defo got potential. Lol @ Simmons is well Simmons
As a European. I just wanna say: I know some teams, not many, and only if I'm looking at their uniforms. It's fun to watch but it's not really my thing to be honest.
MJ was a bit too selfish i feel. Defo great with his skills but i feel he was Lebron is more of a team guy and he can evolve players under him which is a quality very few great players possessed.
I will respectfully disagree, MJ was a team player, but if the game was in jeopardy he would just take over and get the Dub.
Are you saying LeBron isn't clutch? Because I'm going to have to disagree there if ya are.. Bron could take over if he needs too and win the game as well. He's done it plenty in the past.
No, I am not saying he's not clutch. I'm saying MJ did it and against 5 good players on each team instead of 2 maybe 3. Bron, Is huge, gamer, clutch top 5 all time for sure...and still going at it.
Jordan. Clearly the best ever. Imagine what he could do today without hand checking. And his will to win is second to none.
