Disturbed's version of Sound of Silence is super swell, sure, but there are more. This is one of my favorites. I'll start with just 1 for now... it's only fair. The talk-up is worth the listen as well.
2 of them...but there are a few more Nirvana - The Man Who Sold The World (originally by David Bowie) Led Zeppelin - When The Levee Breaks ((originally by Kansas Joe & Memphis Minnie)
I always thought When the Levee Breaks was a Zeppelin original. Never knew it was a cover. Thanks for the info.
Boyce Avenue are like Youtube cover kings. My favorite of theirs is This Year's Love, originally by David Gray, whose version I love, but still...
It bothers me that he sings the verses backwards, but that voice... I'll deal. This is from 10+ years ago, and he went on to win America's Got Talent, I think it was 2 or 3 seasons ago.
Grateful Dead. When I paint my masterpiece. Dylan did the original. And Jodeci Lately. Liked their arrangement better than Stevie Wonders
