Best way to insert pics into a conversation?

I've been shown one way to do so a while back, but I forgot the site to make the link. What do you all use, and how easy is it?

Alternatively, you can log into chat, type:
/msg YourOwnUserName
Press ENTER/RETURN
When a PM from yourself comes up,
Upload an image
Open the upload
Right click and copy image URL
Paste it here in forums or use image URL attachment button
These expire in less than 24hrs.

This way: You're staying here, not uploading your images all over internet and they automatically expire. ;)

File size limit in chat is somewhere around 8mb.

That's a good idea, thanks for that one.
Hi all
anyone tried this method of putting images in a conv? I tried, and it works as expected UNTIL I click to 'post reply'. I'm told that the message contains 'inappropriate elements' which I presume is either the picture, or the link to the picture. Seems that you can't add an image that is on your computer, unless you use an online image, which I don't want to do.
Hope someone can prove me wrong :-)

Oh, thanks Stan.... for confirming. Shame though. Is it a technical reason or a practical one.? Really don't want to have to put holiday pics (or others) into an online thing.

I am also not able to upload images from imgbb. I get the same response “inappropriate elements”

Can someone to find a workaround for this?

There's no workaround. Anti-spam system will continue doing its thing.

I really appreciate your prompt reply! People I am communicating with do not seem to have the same problem in reverse. I am only trying to copy and paste the URL and I am always met with a rejection. I am using images uploaded to img.bb . Is it possible I am doing something wrong? Your advice is welcomed.

There's something in the image of file name. Can you describe it? Is there text in image?

It is only a URL provided by the website. I simply copy it and paste it into the blue bar and hit “insert“

There is no text in image. The photo I am trying to upload has no text displayed in it. It’s only a photo.
