Never believed sex or such hinders military life. So being transgender to me is a none issue in this regard.
Same as everyone is pointing out, sex doesn't hunder your hability to serve and those who serve seem to have never mentioned it as a complication. I'm glad El Comandante Biden revoked the ban. Edit: I just noticed Pres. changes automaticaly to El Comandante. I'm pleased in a childish way that it does!
When I heard this I was so fucking happy! Everyone is human, and everyone should have equal opportunities.❤️
As a veteran of 22+ years I have never had nor never will have a problem serving alongside someone of a diverse sexuality: Whether gay, lesbian or trans (although I do draw the line at Mackems). I´ve served in hotspots alongside Siekhs and Moslems, Gurkhas and Fijians, and the only criteria as far as I was concerned, was their ability to carry out their job/task. The British Army has also finally accepted how diversity enhances the performance of a unit rather than undermines it. Well done Joe !!!!
That’s not what trumps ban was about, he banned Trans people until they were done with hormones, because they are not available a lot of places when deployed. He was trying to make sure they wouldn’t get sick. They were still allowed if they weren’t on hormones.
I don't care what you identify at. Can you get the job done ? Yes ? Sign here. And that should go for every jobs.
I'll be honest. I wasn't aware a ban was put in place for such things. Yet I am glad it is overturned.
