Chat is down, since nobody will actually inform any of its FN users, figured I’d do it.

So yeah. New chat is down. You try and get onto the site and it won’t work and it will give you an Error 404 Message or it will give you a “[insert browser] cannot open the page.” Whenever they will fix it I have no idea, but from what I know it was down 45 minutes ago so it’s probably going to be a day or two. I’d find other ways to have fun at this point. It’s really a shame how bad this site is with informing its users on shit like that happening. We kind of just have to fend for ourselves and it’s pretty stupid, but hey, we move.

 

lmao a day or two? maybe lean less into your bimbo persona and actually think. its just a tech issue, it'll sort itself out soon enough... there's no reason to lose your mind about it XD go watch netflix or pornhub or something, hell read a book. its not like your power or internet are out... the audacity and entitlement of some people these days...

 

They said they are working on it. Should be back up soon. For now messages here if it’s a need to chat with someone.

Okay well my mistake then. I just saw nothing on any of the forum posts and idk.

 

There is a few threads but nothing in the official announcements yet. A staff member jumped on my thread and told me they are working on it. But nothing officially posted yet hopefully it’s fixed before it’s needed.

i got a 524 error msg when i tried to enter chat and nothing happened after that, even with refreshing the page.

 

Yea that means the page is down. Idk maybe they are currently working on it but will see.

I just checked now and the new chat seems to be up and running again so it may have it’s been a little bit of a fault for a day

 

it was working just fine for me earlier this morning when i tried it. The extra browser windows that open when i'm logging into chat are annoying though, and i'm using the latest version of chrome

 

those have been a thing forever, and if youre not used to seeing them it means your ad blocker is probably out of date

 

@subarcticfox my ad blocker blocks those pages when they open while i'm logging in to chat. I'm just saying that before one of the past updates to the site, those extra windows didn't pop up.

 

lmao thats what im saying, they have ALWAYS opened. your ad blocker was just not working properly so you saw them for the first time...

 

is there no way to prevent those windows / pages from opening, besides physically closing them?

 

other than updating/ finding a new/ better ad blocker that works? no. thats the point of the ads, its how FCN pays for the servers/ services they offer, cause non of us are paying a dime for it
