Ok, a personal opinion is all this is.

I'd like to see picture posting stopped in the rooms. In my opinion, it should be the domain of a Private Message. It would save me (and a lot of others) putting anyone who posts a pic in main on ignore.

Again, its my opinion, but chat should be reserved for text chat and pics should between the person who wants to post it and the person who wants to see it.

The pic icon alone forces that chat to scroll faster as it takes up multiple lines where text should be.

Ok, that's my opinion. You may commence tearing me a new arsehole now.

I agree and disagree. It's annoying to see the obscene picture, but when we are, as a group, talking about something and Queef sums it up with one funny meme it really makes for a great moment. I just don't click unless I know who the poster is.

Most of the fast scrolling is created by the spamming trolls who come in looking to RP or whatever other strange request they blurt out. Pics don't bother me. I know who I can click and who I shouldn't.

As I said, it was just an opinion. I will continue ignoring the photo posters and the spammers, preferring to keep my chat for actual chatters. So, if you are a chatter who also posts pictures, I apologise in advance if you talk to me and think I am rude for not replying. You now know why.

I place frequent image posters on ignore.

Perhaps the space it takes up could be reduced two just one or two lines, but in the end, it's a public chat with few restrictions and competition isn't looking to remove the ability to post images.
