I got Pfizer both doses. My arm hurt for a day after getting the first dose then I felt fine afterwards with no side effects. My second dose my arm hurt as well, but I experienced no side effects other than the next day afterwards my arm felt like I had been lifting really heavy weights and hurt to lift my arm or do anything with it. I think my experience is unconventional. Most people seem to be having side effects and pain afterwards.

I had the Astra Zeneca vaccine and apart from feeling tired, had no other side effects. I know there's worries about blood clots and such with this one. But to be honest. Looking at the information, more people have issues with the flu vaccine than they do with this one. But to allay fears, under 40s have been offered alternatives.

I got the Moderna vaccine, second dose the week before last. That second shot knocked me on my butt, I was sick for almost two days. Felt like a bad case of the flu. My arm was sore for a couple days after that.

I got the Moderna. The first shot knocked me on my ass - I was in bed with fatigue, headache, fever and my arm hurt like a sonuvab for a week. The second shot was nothing - my arm barely even hurt at all.

Had modern back in January with the second dose a month after. The first dose wasn't too bad but the second dose really put me in bed for a day and a half with a fever and pretty bad shivers

I've had a Pfizer booster shot little over three weeks ago and not a single side effect. Only the usual sore arm for one day. Not even sure whether I had an online response.

Immune response after second dose earlier in the year was obvious.

I just got the Moderna booster earlier today and the soreness in my left bicep has been slowly spreading up along my shoulder. I'm unsure if this is the start of a whole list of side effects like my sister endured or I'm just being a bitch. Will give update when I wake up lol. I hope it's the latter

Well, the needle does damage when you're stabbed with it. No way around that damage, unless inserted expertly with least possible effect.

So I took both the Pfizer shots alongside the boosters, I experienced heavy arm pain on first shot, got really sick with rapid sneezing and coughing followed by difficulty breathing on the second, no side effects on the boosters aside numb arm numbness but all is fine in the end

All 3 biontech. Just small reactions all 3 times.
4th is coming in May I think when the omicron booster is ready.

I got the J&J one, but only because I had to in order to travel. I had covid and still have tons of natural antibodies. The Red Cross says the natural antibodies are better, since they exist aginst both the payload (virus itself) and the means of entry (cones), or something like that. Anyway, my blood saved lives back before vaccines existed, but is not good enough to allow me to travel. Sad, really.

The newest Bi-Valent as of September 21st according to cdc guidelines is open to any and all age 12+.

Bi-Valent has 2 doses in 1 shot cocktail.

They have them for both the Pfizer (BioNTech) and the Moderna.
______________

● Let's say you took shot 1, and no shot 2 or 3, or 4.
● Or took first 2, and no 3 or 4.

● Or any combinations. Even if incomplete series with the mix and match of J&J (Janssen) / Moderna / Pfizer (BioNTech) ; if you live/traveling in US you are eligible to get the newest Bivalent of your choice without having to wait.

Let's say you went somewhere and they said no. Make sure you have your vaccine record with you. All you should need is your vaccine card. With correct dates. If you don't have one.. an "E-Proof" is needed.
■ If you are traveling and passing through US. You will need to bring your ID, or Passport to have your vaccine along with your e.vac proof or physical vaccination card.

[ Applied for US residents only ]
Many states have govt. site linked "Virtual Vac. Card options".
● How to make your card be available virtual as well?
Just head to your search engine:
( your state name + lab + government )
click enter.
● Once you are there follow the guidelines on the official site of your state. After you have virtual. At any point you can procure that as a proof when trying to get further boosters at centers near you.

It will give you options.
The only reason in US someone can deny you vaccine is if it conflicts with your prescription and or noted health conditions as informed with primary care.

GL. Stay vaccinated. Given you are planning to get them.

*** Not enough data exists to prompt the efficacy of the bivalent booster.
*** Though from the observation and limited studies, experts predict that it will fare well against Omicron (subvariants BA.4/5).

So what does everyone think about them now that a bit of time has passed? Or should that be a new thread? I'm just curious because I've heard a bit of conflicting reviews.

I had x1 Novovax. My BP shot up to over 225. Had to takes V's to bring it down to safe levels. Heart palps and skips for 6 months. Wrecked my gut. On heavy Probiotics still. Never again. Informed my Doctor in which he replied: We have to get your BP down so as you can take the second dose and boosters. Needless to say, he is not my Doctor anymore. Reported my adverse reaction to the online Health authority. Never got a reply. Will never do it again. EVER!

I will never ever comply again.
