Did you know that if you took all the elephants on Earth, and put them end to end, reaching from the edge of Earth's atmosphere toward the moon, all of those elephants would die?
If mass teleportation were involved in order to position them, they would all suffocate at around the same time.
The vacuum would kill them first. Not the lack of oxygen! Their blood will boil to create steam and explode them. Lovely
This is probably more realistic: https://www.space.com/30066-what-happens-to-unprotected-body-in-outer-space.html Elephant's skin is significantly thicker and tougher, so physical deformation would probably be far less dramatic.
But after death the steam under the skin will create thousands of Newtons of force! This would be extremely dramatic if the pressure builds to breaking point!
There's only so much pressure that can be built, considering the source volume. If you have a nasty cut, perhaps your innards would leak fluid/gases, but our skin is able to stay intact under earth's gravity and atmospheric pressure, so a breaking point is unlikely.
they say you learn something every day, i just don't know who they are and why the fuck they would say that.
