No. God was a higher being created by man to help control the masses, give us direction and help us understand the unexplainable. Today we have laws, education and science to replace them things. And by God, what God? There has been hundreds if not thousands of different Gods that had different roles. Who's wrong? Who's right? Is your God better than my God? Or does my God not exist because your God claims he's the only God? What about the religions far older than the 'popular' ones that have multiple Gods? Is Hinduism now wrong because the Catholics decided that there's only a single deity? Personally, I feel, people seek religion because they are scared that once they are dead there is nothing. That long emptiness is terrifying.
If god doesnot exist then what about people who get possessed by evil spirits and when a priest does the ritual and treat the person why the evil spirits leaves? Whom they fear? If its not god?
Certain people are very good at making people believe bullshit. Are the martial art masters really knocking people over without touching them? Are priests really making people fall over by the power of God? No. It's people who wanna believe, falling over on their own free will. Exorcisms is a load of tosh and should be saved for creepy 70s films.
So u mean to say neither god nor does evil exist?what about tons of incidents happened and happening even today?are those people not stable psychologically?
What has God got to do with people doing evil acts? People are horrible. Nature itself is horrible. Being mentally unstable or having a lust for blood does not mean you are possessed by demons and all you need is a good old holy Catholic priest to come rid you of your evil. Do we choose one with or without a fondness for cleaning the choir boys teeth with his holy hotdog?

Lets take the fact that since beginning of time all that even happened related to god and evil tobe equal to 1 million experienced by one million people? Right chances of both events happening either be true or false accounting to 50% as false and true 50% ..lets say all of them were false except one event. It still will prove other 99.99% event true.
