High CPU usage (and other things)

The new chat is even greedier for resources than the previous one. If three rooms are opened (SexChat, AdultChat and RoleplayChat) in Firefox on macOS, CPU usage jumps to 25-30%. Eats up a laptop's battery pretty fast.

The new dick pic detector has a frustratingly high number of false positives (can provide them if needed).

Uploading of images is now two clicks instead of one (first click the "landscape" button, then the "upload" button). Why not have all buttons in a row without the extra popup? Plenty of screen space for that.

These are my only gripes with the chat so far, but they are pretty big, especially the CPU one.

I also noticed that greed with resources on mobile. Are you on mobile or laptop since you mentioned battery drain? Personally being on iphone 14 pro max I noticed significant battery drop but that is to be expected since schat2 is not fully optimized

That's on a Macbook Pro, yes.
I have tried multiple different browsers since someone mentioned opera gx. Out of five different web browsers on mobile, all browsers acted the same. High CPU usage and high battery drain; but that was only on Thursday and it was a little better on Friday. Not sure if you had a similar outcome of if you only visited the chat on Thursday when the old one was on maintenance
