A lot of links contain spam or malicious ads/scripts, that's why they're not generally permitted. Safe Links such as YouTube are exempt.
It's best to upload your images. You can also post content on your own profile for others to view, whom you can direct to your profile.
FCN has most, if not all services you need, including cam and mics as well as private conversations outside of chat via forums.

I understand, and thanks. Sometimes it's fun to watch a video with other folks together. Most of those vids are not Youtube safe.
