i previously used another site who did similar things BUT they did the rooms completely free but for ip bans you had to pay for those sorta features

How exactly useful are IP# bans on a global scale, against users with access to multiple devices and effectively countless networks? Networking isn't what it used to be, especially since 2011. FCN employs bans far more advanced than IP# bans and IP#'s are banned by default when you execute a ban—no extra charge.

For example, I have access to at least six different services and several of them have effectively endless resources across the globe. You could never ever keep me out of absolutely anything that's not password protected if you deployed only IP# bans against me.

I'm not inviting a technical discussion, but do understand that IP# bans alone aren't very useful, IP# bans are already baked into software and there's much more to rooms than bans. Look through the screenshots of settings and functions.

Anyone selling IP# bans specifically to you isn't being entirely honest.
You won't get to see everyone's IP#'s anyway, for a multitude of obvious and not so obvious reasons.

 

Just my two cents on this, I think it’s a great idea and I’d definitely be part of it. However, seeing as an IP ban isn’t really effective since anyone can obtain a new IP addy, leave that feature out and employ maybe a room-specific ban on usernames with varying lengths of time such as 1hr, all day, 2days, etc. as for premium fcn features, let the room creation be a paid feature. This sounded good in my head lol. Also, other question would be, when a room is created under the premium feature, are FCN mods allowed to enter the rooms? By fcn mods I mean the ones who are moderating the pre-determined rooms as they exist now.

 

I feel like this, as long as I can ban someone, I'm happy! It takes seconds longer to create a new name than hitting the ban button. May your fingers cramped up from all that typing just to get into my room
