New feature glitch

So when I click on the lightning bolt that is supposed to take me to most recent threads it does , but it takes me to the first page... it's a little confusing if you answer the bottom Post in the thread on page one when there's about 300 pages and you don't realize it. Shouldn't it take you to the most recent post in that thread on the last page instead of 1st page?

I thought it used to do that anyway? It would only take you to the last page if you clicked on a notification saying someone had replied to the thread.

It takes you to the first page if you've never been to the thread or cleared cookies (and if you've stopped watching all threads, which clears your placeholders).

If you've visited the thread in the past, it'll take you to the last page you viewed.

The annoying part is that Xenforo removed page navigation from top and from thread list below titles. There doesn't seem to be a way to re-add the function without custom add-on
