I couldn't see a 'Sports' section, so am posting here. Mods, please feel free to move it if it's in the wrong section.

    Round 1 Fixtures:

France v Wales, Friday 1st February at Stade De France (20:00 GMT)
Scotland v Italy, Saturday 2nd February at Murrayfield (14:15 GMT)
Ireland v England, Saturday 2nd February at the Aviva Stadium (16:45 GMT)

    My predictions:

    France v Wales

Always a difficult game to call, as it will depend on which France side turns up. France blow hot and cold, and on their day they are fantastic to watch but on bad days are frustratingly poor. Wales usually perform well in difficult games and have a solid, hard-working unit built around a tight defence and free-flowing counter-attacks.

    Modron says: France 10-21 Wales

    Scotland v Italy

Scotland are rapidly improving and amy 'fear factor' in taking on the big boys of World Rugby is now gone. I would expect a comfortable home win over Italy, with the Italians once again only picking up the Wooden Spoon come the end of the tournament.

    Modron says: Scotland 36-6 Italy

    Ireland v England

Perhaps the most difficult game to call of the weekend, and maybe even a rehearsal of one of the 2019 Rugby World Cup Semi Finals? Two extremely good sides who will not give an inch - I favour Ireland slightly with home advantage but there will be very little to seperate them.

    Modron says: Ireland 18-15 England (a kick-fest)

    What say you?
