I've never liked the idea of online dating but as it's getting increasingly difficult to make connections in the real world, I'm curious how well it's worked out for others. Thinking in terms of actually relationships/dating outside of just hookups. What dating apps have worked for you?
yeah its actually quite scary when u look at statistics about how relationships are found / made nowadays.. its why i like to leave my phone on the side when i go out - if u have a open eye ur able to meet alot of nice people
Yeah it can be a tricky situation. I find myself way more comfortable with most people conversing over text than speech for instance. There have been a few that I really clicked with in person and it was great, but never worked out for reasons I won't get into here. As for apps, I don't use the traditional ones. I tried Tinder very briefly, but was disappointed of course. I'd say sites like this are the best alternative if you are actually looking. Just be careful and verify who the people you're talking to are. If they are at all hesitant or get defensive about you wanting verification, chances are they're lying.
As a woman, what are you looking for in online dating at a site like this? I would think there are women, although certainly not the majority, that want a discrete connection to be intimate with, not physically but with pictures, videos and sexting. That would be so hot to me and is my fantasy.
