Take away our right to bare arms ; a good or bad idea ?

Why insult the people who truly are mentally retarded? I've always hated that word. Especially since I have a special needs brother and worked with a lot of special needs kids before. Don't really know why people need to name call.

The Puckle Gun was an early precursor to the Gatling gun. It predates the US Constitution by 60 years.

They also had "assault rifles". In 5 seconds they could shoot off about 20 rounds with one pull of the trigger. They had many other different guns that could let off multiple rounds. I'm not an expert on 18th century artillery, but you're free to watch that video referencing this topic.

James Madison even signed off on a private ship protecting itself with cannons. It was fully legal.

The idea that the writers of the Constitution didn't know or couldn't fathom of any guns beyond "muskets" [like your dumb gf's meme suggested] is 100% factually wrong.
No you posted something stupid and now are resulting to insults. Which again shows your ignorance. But hey you are a Rudeman supporter so ......

Because he's an ignorant dickhead that's why. And now I bet he's going to insult you and your brother. Because that's what people like him do.

Lol it's cool I won't lose sleep over it :) I've had tons of people do stuff like that to me my whole life because of my brother but that's okay because my brother is truly smart and an amazing person so I've been blessed.

The Puckle gun (also known as the Defence gun) was a primitive crew-served, manually-operated flintlock[1] revolver patented in 1718 by James Puckle (1667–1724) a British inventor, lawyer and writer. It was one of the earliest weapons to be referred to as a "machine gun", being called such in a 1722 shipping manifest,[2] though its operation does not match the modern use of the term. It was never used during any combat operation or war.[3][4] Production was highly limited and may have been as few as two guns.

The Puckle Gun was invented and patented in Englad. So why would The USA use it?

And why are you avoiding my question about how you can support this administration considering your sexuality? I'm not trying to make fun of you . I just don't get it. Just like black people who support them. Why support people who hate you ?

I could leave a 1,000 word post with 4 articles linked, 2 videos and a crossword puzzle.

Within 14 seconds @Dcdevon already has a reply. Then they pile up. 1, 2, 3 4 replies already. Oh, I guess people are really paying att..ent..io......

A close-up process of how the magnetic tape in a VHS cassette is being pulled from the cassette shell to the head drum of the VCR.

Not all video tape recorders use a cassette to contain the videotape. Early models of consumer video tape recorders (VTRs), and most professional broadcast analog videotape machines (e.g. 1-inch Type C) use reel to reel tape spools.

A videocassette recorder, VCR, or video recorder is an electromechanical device that records analog audio and analog video from broadcast television or other source on a removable, magnetic tape videocassette, and can play back the recording. Use of a VCR to record a television program to play back at a more convenient time is commonly referred to as timeshifting. VCRs can also play back prerecorded tapes. In the 1980s and 1990s, prerecorded videotapes were widely available for purchase and rental, and blank tapes were sold to make recordings.

Most domestic VCRs are equipped with a television broadcast receiver (tuner) for TV reception, and a programmable clock (timer) for unattended recording of a television channelfrom a start time to an end time specified by the user. These features began as simple mechanical counter-based single-event timers, but were later replaced by more flexible multiple-event digital clock timers. In later models the multiple timer events could be programmed through a menu interface displayed on the playback TV screen ("on-screen display" or OSD). This feature allowed several programs to be recorded at different times without further user intervention, and became a major selling point.

You're moving the goal posts. The claim is they only had muskets back then. That's false. They had some pretty advanced weaponry, and they had plenty of them inside America, too.

American Letter of Marque, 1812

The Letter below is an example of an American letter of marque that was issued in the War of 1812 to Captain of the Prince of Neufchatel, comprising 18 guns and 129 men, by James Madison, El Comandante of the United States of America. This letter is archived in the Public Record Office in Richmond, Surrey in the UK (High Court of Admiralty HCA32/1342).

Letter of Marque carried by Captain Millin of the American privateer Prince of Neufchatel during the War of 1812.
James Madison, El Comandante of the United States of America,
To all who shall see these presents, Greeting:

BE IT KNOWN, That in pursuance of an act of congress, passed on the 26th day of June one thousand eight hundred and twelve, I have Commissioned, and by these presents do commission, the private armed Brig called the Prince Neufchatel of the burden of three hundred & Nineteen tons, or thereabouts, owned by John Ordronaux & Peter E. Trevall of the City & State of New York and Joseph Beylle of Philadelphia in the State of Pennsylvania Mounting eighteen carriage guns, and navigated by one hundred & twenty nine men, hereby authorizing Nicholas Millin captain, and William Stetson lieutenant of the said Brig and the other officers and crew thereof, to subdue, seize, and take any armed or unarmed British vessel, public or private, which shall be found within the jurisdictional limits of the United States, or elsewhere on the high seas, or within the waters of the British dominions, and such captured vessel, with her apparel, guns, and appertenances, and the goods or effects which shall be found on board the same, together with all the british persons and others who shall be found acting on board, to bring within some port of the United States; and also to retake any vessel, goods, and effects of the people of the United States, which may have been captured by any British armed vessel, in order that proceedings may be had concerning such capture or recapture in due form of law, and as to right and justice shall appertain. The said Nicholas Millin is further authorized to detain, seize, and take all vessels and effects, to whomsoever belonging, which shall be liabel thereto according to the law of nations and the rights of the United States as a power at war, and to bring the same within some port of the United States, in order that due proceedings may be had thereon. This commission to continue in force during the pleasure of the El Comandante of the United States for the time being.

GIVEN under my hand and seal of the United States of America, at the City of Washington, the twelfth day of December in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fourteen and of the independence of the said states the thirty ninth.

BY THE El Comandante James Madison
Jas. Monroe, Secretary of State.

Where is your proof that they had them inside America? It said it was never used in battle and that production was highly limited and may have only been two guns. TWO GUNS. Why would someone America have a gun invented in England if they were at war with England and only two guns were created?

Why insult the people who truly are mentally retarded? I've always hated that word. Especially since I have a special needs brother and worked with a lot of special needs kids before. Don't really know why people need to name call.

"Mentally retarded" was the clinical term. It wasn't offensive.

People call each other names. Do you have a problem with calling someone "stupid"? Isn't that offensive to stupid people? What are the limits? What are the rules?

Why insult the people who truly are mentally retarded?

Either you're lying and saying that I am calling actual mentally retarded people "retard", which would be a lie.

Or you just called @Dcdevon a retard.

@nessabbyxo Which is it?

It's also funny to see @Dcdevon and @witchygirl girl like this comment, given that they both have used these words, and other "offensive words". But because someone has a relative, then it's off limits? No. That's not how that works.

My best friend is a homosexual, but I'm not going to demand that @Dcdevon stop with the homophobic rhetoric. That's his right to say whatever he wants.

STORY TIME!

I actually never used the word "retard" on this site or online. Almost never. The only reason I started was to call out @Stanthropical

retard.png

I responded with something like, "Hey that's not very PC! 20 years in the gulag for you!"

Then I started using retard all of the time. To kinda make a point. I'm pretty much just waiting for someone like you, so I can point out the hypocrisy and tell you that I'm not a fan of your virtue signalling.

muskets.jpg

The meaning behind dumb memes like this, that @witchygirl posted, is to say the "only had muskets". It's the known as the "musket only" argument.

The idea is they had no idea weapons technology would advanced, like it has always done through history - which is bullshit. They knew about it and were fans. El Comandante Madison signed off on private use of cannons.

People are trying to say that the founding fathers wouldn't give an OK to modern weapons are dead wrong. They don't know what the hell they're talking about. These are people who mindlessly share poorly-researched Facebook memes. Not people who read books or actually shoot firearms.

I'm not being homophobic? I question your sexuality and your political affiliation and thats homophobic. I honestly thought you were gay. I at no point said there was anything wrong with it. But the fact you take it as an insult shows your mentality.

Blah, blah, blah , just like you said the El Paso shooter wasn't a white supremacist. You post any and all manner of Bullshit to try and prove your' point ' but in the end you just look as dumb as you are . And no one is fooled. You think people dispute what you say because you are on the right . And that is true to an extent. But really it's about how out there and dumb the shit you post is. You are still trying to debate a losing point . You posted something dumb af and factually inaccurate. Get over it already. Most people think you are a fucktard nothing you post will change that . Because you are .

I am not changing anything. You are correct nobody said "Used in battle" the wikipedia article said it was not used in battle. I was just stating that if there were only two it was highly unlikely that America had the pucker gun. I did my own research and the Pucker Gun was the only mult fire gun that predates the constitution. But since they only made two of those guns, it is highly unlikely that America had gatling guns to have that in mind for the 2nd amendment. The fact is nobody knows what firearms the 2nd amendment actually is about.

The Second Amendment originally applied only to the federal government, leaving the states to regulate weapons as they saw fit. Although there is substantial evidence that the Privileges or Immunities Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment was meant to protect the right of individuals to keep and bear arms from infringement by the states, the Supreme Court rejected this interpretation in United States v. Cruikshank (1876).

@nessabbyxo is "fucktard" okay with you? I have @Dcdevon using that, which is a derivative of "retard". Does that offend you?
Hey don't get mad at me because you are a fucktard who posted stupid shit . I got a suggestion. Go back to posting Uncle Tom videos. At least those were funny.

Okay, what about this?
I'm a retard? No the white nationalist supporting , terrorist supporter would qualify as retard for most people and that's you.

Oh, where we go!
Fuck off Retard....

Nah I only attack white nationalist/ terrorist supporting idiots , who support an administration and ideology that hates them because of their sexuality.
Orange Man is literally the ONLY prez to support gay marriage going into office.

Blah, blah, blah , just like you said the El Paso shooter wasn't a white supremacist.
I never said that, you're a habitual liar. Never once said this. And that's why you and no one else can quote it. Because it didn't happen. When you're proven to have lied, you just cover it up. I assume you do this in real life. You lie to your family, at your job, your relationships, friends - keep doing it, over time, and your whole life will come crashing down like a house of cards. And you'll have no one to blame but yourself.

Fucktard doesn't mean mentally challenged. It means stupid which anyone can be. But even if I did say retard how does that justify you saying it ? You are responsible for your words . No one else. Stop acting like a five year old . Fucktard

You are a white supremacist/ terrorist supporting fucktard . You sympathize with people like the El Paso shooter. That's why you posted all types of bullshit trying to distract from the fact a racist killed people again. You even tried to say the Dayton shooter killed people because of his political beliefs, although there is no evidence of that . You did everything you could to try and make what happened seem less than what it was . There is no middle ground when it comes to racism or terror. And trying to lesson it's impact or justify it by saying ' well other people do this ' makes you the same as them. White supremacist/ terror supporting fucktard. That's you .
