Since December 8th 2024 the Assad regime is not more , the Syrian revolution has finally won after 14 years , therefore the flag of the Assad regime is no more as well , the red one is gone and represents the last 60 years of dictatorship, the country is back to its original green flag with the 3 red stars , recognized now by the UN and the whole world inclouding America so please remove the red flag everywhere and replace it with the green one , thank you .

Thanks for your message. But let’s clear a few things up.

The flag you’re referring to—the green-white-black with three red stars—has not been officially adopted by the United Nations or “the whole world,” including the U.S. There’s no formal recognition of it as Syria’s national flag. That flag is used by the opposition, and while it has symbolic weight for many, it’s not the country’s legal or internationally recognized flag.

As of now, the red-white-black flag with two green stars—yes, the one you call “Assad’s flag”—is still the official national flag of Syria in all global institutions, including the UN. Until that changes formally, that’s the standard used in international platforms.

You can express support for the revolution and its symbols, but don’t try to rewrite global policy in a chat room. That’s not how flags, or facts, work
