The chicken is a result of countless genetic mutations in a series leading from reptiles all the way to avians. The reptiles had been laying eggs long before avians existed though slightly different eggs. Avians developed many traits over time. These traits lead to the proto-chicken which was infinitesimally close to but not quite yet a chicken.

I don't believe that we are the only life out there but more than a huge chance exists that with the vast distances of space and the 'odds of galactic chance', should they exist, most likely, they are so far away, we will never encounter them.

People have ridiculous expectations when they think about life outside of planet. Life could be bacteria, weird jellyfish, insects, snakes or some other weird shit we will never categorize.

*Shrug* That’s about as far as my thoughts go around the possibility (apart from checking out Scully in that sexy little shoulder-padded suit of hers.) I used to be way more into it when I was a kid, but these days I don’t think about it beyond the chances of us finding single-celled form frozen.
