Unable to Log In to Chat

So for the past few...days? Week and a bit, I’ve been unable to log into the site on my iPad. Every attempt leaves me on a perpetual loading screen with all the loading jokes.
I know my device is old, and running a version of iOS that is YEARS out of date (this is me holding it off, not because my device is too old to update), but is that really what would be preventing me from logging in? It works fine on my iPhone which is up to date, but I’d rather not be chatting on that because the screen is so small.

Any help is appreciated. I’d rather not update my iPad, but a lot of apps are starting to not be compatible so I may consider it...

In the end, I opted to update, and now the login page appears. Perhaps this will fix my scrolling issue as well
