Where would you go?

I'm just curious as to where people would go and why.

You've won a prize and an airline has given you a free 5 hour flight to your destination of choice. Where would you go and why there?

 

Australia. There is someone I want to see there.

True. I know I do

 

5 hrs flying time, I'd still be in Australia or over an ocean somewhere.

If it was 15 hrs, I could get to LA or 20 hrs, London or Paris.

Same here, I put it and then realised everywhere I'd love to visit is more than a 5 hour flight away. Done Europe, would like to see India (again) or go back to Melbourne or maybe see Sydney when it's not in Olympic fever

 

I've never been anywhere but parents travel all year round. I sorta got used to how long it takes to get anywhere by their contact phone calls.

Well you are young, so that's understandable.

A lot of my travelling was done with my old job. It was great, I got paid to go to places and see sporting events I wouldn't normally see. Wasn't bad, I got to spend 10 weeks in Sydney in 2000, working on the Olympics

 

You've spent more time in Syd than me then. I've only been once and that was just an over-night stay.

Australia is more than a 5 hour flight away from you. I'm confused as to why there's even a limit.

I'd like to go to Australia too, but because it's their summer now, and they speak English(ish).
