Sometimes, I manage a piece that even impresses me.
At no time since she began her quest has Pharone had the thought of killing this man apart from knowing that she would confront him. Any thoughts Pharone harboured were exclusively the excitement and anticipation that here may be the one to grant her that which she desires most, a glorious Atlantean death that even the Gods will commit to verse and song. In doing so, she did not realise that this was shielding her from the sorcerer’s ability to detect approaching threats, she was dreaming of her death, not his. She would go on thinking like this until death claimed her or the brief moment in time when she delivered a killing stroke to her foe and realised, she still lived. The sorcerer’s paranoia was aimed at detecting people who desired to kill him and his magic was ineffective in sensing someone who wished to die at his hand. Læiknarr was equally immune to his powers as most of his thinking time was aimed at food, sleep and wondering if he might tempt Pharone back to his furs again when this was all over.

Omg.....you are the most fabulous women ever! That should go viral...across Canada anyway. Guess what I'm drinking as we speak?
The only problem with this new addiction...it seems to have the side effects of other addictions, the shakes, always wanting more, constantly thinking of my next "fix" and spending money I shouldn't....*maple syrup isn't cheap* 
keep tabs on me in case I have to start selling clothes and jewelry to fuel my new habit. 
An intervention might be in order.

Look for “ grade A pure Canadian maple syrup” darker the sweeter. That would be the best

Watching Transformers & waiting for the urgent care to open at noon so I can get in to see a doctor and hope to get some help. So much pain and nausea making me feel miserable.
