Most of us like this community of like-minded individuals having fun and messing with or encouraging/admiring each other. Unfortunately, not everyone is adults or has the common decency to come here with the intention to have fun. They choose to harass, bully, and treat people like they are less than human.
So I figured some of you might like to know there are privacy settings you can change to stop some of the “bad noise” coming your way from the forum here. Because let’s face it @Oldgymrat may find it fun the first two times I start bro-crushing on his awesome pecs but beyond that, he likely will start to get annoyed.
So if you’re sick of getting contacted by people with no intention to invest in being half-ways decent or fun (our time is precious to us) follow these simple steps:

So if you’re sick of getting contacted by people with no intention to invest in being half-ways decent or fun (our time is precious to us) follow these simple steps:
- Click your name in the top right-hand side of the forum header and select Privacy
- Scroll down to the People Who May… section
- Adjust the following depending on your preference
- View your details on your profile page: All Vistors (I don’t care who looks at it), Members Only (I don’t really want everyone looking at it that can’t or won’t sign up for an FCN account), People You Follow Only (This space feels personal to me and my friends and they should be the only ones looking at it)
- Post Messages on your profile page: Members Only (I don’t really want everyone looking at it that can’t or won’t sign up for an FCN account), People You Follow Only (This space feels personal to me and my friends and they should be the only ones looking at it)
- At this point you probably catch my drift and can figure out the rest of the settings as they suit what you want.
- Lastly, go through and review the list of people you follow, add those you want to be able to contact you and remove those you don’t.
Signed,
Blue
