I think one simply doesn't deal with it and one gives it a name, makes it feel welcome and let's it stay to kill rodents and other pesky critters lol

Make it feel welcome?! Hahahaha if i knew that a spider this big was living somewhere in my house I'd feel really uncomfortable and probably have sleepless nights worrying about it.
Nothing bothers me more than a huge a spider anywhere near me!! *Cringes again*

The worst thing is, they no longer print the yellow pages, my fave anti-spider weapon. I've hung onto the 2012 edition just so I have something to drop on them.

Leave it on the floor for 48hrs (ensure life has fled) then Dyson the critter up and bin it.

I live spiders - the deadly ones get swift deaths and all the rest get named or humanely caught and relocated outside. I don't like killing things if I don't have to.
