Looks a bit like a red belly black snake. Either way - looks safe to say it won't be biting anyone any time soon!

I'd wear an armored suit before trying to deal with it!! *Cringes*
I think one simply doesn't deal with it and one gives it a name, makes it feel welcome and let's it stay to kill rodents and other pesky critters lol

Make it feel welcome?! Hahahaha if i knew that a spider this big was living somewhere in my house I'd feel really uncomfortable and probably have sleepless nights worrying about it.
Nothing bothers me more than a huge a spider anywhere near me!! *Cringes again*

I live spiders - the deadly ones get swift deaths and all the rest get named or humanely caught and relocated outside. I don't like killing things if I don't have to.
