Gardening Do you have a garden? Post pics! v.2020

Is Sluggo available in your country? It's harmless to people and organic. If not any iron based slug killer will work . I've worked in the green industry almost 20 years it's my go to recommended product for slug control.
Thanks for the advice it's really appreciated. I checked and it is available in the UK so I wi order some . Thankyou again :)

That method is for mixing into soil or sprinkling around the plants, which I've never heard of working and it might attract other pests. I've never heard of shells being used for butterfly/moth damage prevention.
Washed eggshells are good for the soul. Crushed mussel shells good too. And the bonus is the slugs don’t like crawling over them. Having said thst ive used both this year and helps but some are braver than others ..

As long as you have the science and proven results to back that up with. Egg shells don't do anything for soil.

Using eggshells is an easy way to add extra nutrients to your tomato plants and deter slugs at the same time. As the eggshells break down, calcium is released freely into the soil. The calcium helps your tomato plants grow and prevents blossom end rot. You can use raw eggshells on tomato plants but hard boiled eggshells are easier to prepare.
