Thoughts Neighborhood Q&A

@FireflyEyes What is the best picture you ever took and why?
Best.... that is an insanely hard question.

In a grand sense, for me my best photos fall into two categories: beautiful photos and meaningful photos. The meaningful ones don't necessarily look perfect, but they capture a moment of intensity. Laughter, joy, movement, pain. There is a photo I took of my brother that falls into this category. It's a funny one, because I have never shown it to him. I think the memory of the moment it was shot would be painful for him. But for me, that was a moment I came to know him, to see him for the first time. And it is a photo that the people who have seen it tend to remark is a great shot of what pain/anger looks like. The beautiful ones, like the lock, are pleasing to look at in an abstract way. There might be something playful or delightful in them. The light and composition tend to be carefully planned.

I am actually quite tickled by the asstastic photo I posted last weekish. I love the light and curves and contrast of that one. Abstractly I think it is pleasing to look at. But also, it had been a very intensely pleasant day when I shot it. I think the pose worked well and it is one that was kind of perfect, didn't call for any retouching, just cropped and rescaled it.

@JustforfunGuy How do you keep such a rocking mustache?
lot of commitment and passion lol
actually the trick is to make them grow for at least 2-3 months without cutting anything, combing and brushing them often and passing the appropriate wax. once you get the desired shape, you can use scissors to finish shaping them.
Last secret: caress them often and encourage them trololol

@ThePegasus what is the best photo you have taken and the one you are most emotionally connected to?

@Jeri36TG Looking back is there anything you wish you could have handled differently?

There is one picture but I cannot say what it sorry, it's really private and have lots of memories with it which I would rather not get in to.

But every pic i take has something special in it, every one of them has a certain distinct beauty which makes it super hard for me choose, but if u need an answer i will say this picture.

@Oldgymrat How often would you recommend lifting weights to get some tone to your body?
For a beginner or someone whose been away from it awhile i like suggesting a 2 days on 1 day off method. I'd use circuits of excersizes employing multiple muscle groups rather than isolation excersizes.
Day one would be chest back shoulders ( the arms get worked as well with compound movements) day two is legs and torso.... day 3 rest... repeat this for 3 weeks and watch your bodies response ( sore joints, sharp muscle pain at contraction) if all is good then change up to be more aggressive add a 3rd day on and add isolation work... pm me if you'd like me to set something up for you! Be happy to

Looking back, I wish I could have come to terms with my true self at 16-18 and started hrt right at 18 instead of waiting an additional 13 years not being myself and not being happy.
