Mm I think we all make mistakes at times. But one thing I've learned is= lots of times we like people at face value and get along well with them. (On a casual level)
But if you begin to spend some/lots of 1on1 time with them. You can realize that either A) you don't have much in common or the way they socialize don't interest you much
Or B ) they have some flaws or qualities that you clash with
So sometimes things aren't mishaps. It just isn't meant to be.
Friendships and relationships fail many times because people just aren't compatible

Oh, the worst job, one of the worst jobs I can think of is sewer maintenance kind of job. Ugh!!!!

Hmmm not that I know about but .... if it was the case I would have do as I always do just move on amd let him/her be. We can be everybodys cup of tea and everybody cant be your cup of tea. Well liked or not.
I do observ and i see a lot ... however i normaly dont say much about what i see or not.
I believe it is important to keep your eyes open amd know what is going on it helps you in some ways to avoid drama and also from making stupit choices.
But in general i just like to oberved the people of fcn humans is fasinating creatures.

Ffs that's tough... Iceland, Norway or Canada would on my top choices, somewhere quiet and peacefully so I could enjoy looking at the sky. If that could be combined with the northern lights even better. I can't think of anything better than that.
Primarily the friends I've made. I enjoy interacting with those people and enjoy coming online, seeing what they post, being silly with them, and also being flirty and playful as well at times.
Also it's a place where I can be myself without being judged. I'm sure some people here have judged what I like and enjoy, but for the most part I've found this to be an accepting community as long as you are respectful of others.
Just be yourself. I know to a certain extent we are all anonymous here and there are parts of our lives we don't bring here. However, I've found just being who you are goes a long way here. It's best not to pretend to be someone you aren't or act like you enjoy things that you don't.
Another important thing is to be respectful of others. Just like in 'real life' there are going to be people here you don't like. I do my best to either steer clear of those people or keep my interactions to a minimum. If I do interact with them I am respectful unless they have done something to lose the courteous of being respectful. Wow I have no idea if that made sense, but I'm going with it.
Haven't done this yet. I think I have at times not reached out enough to get to know someone better. At times I'm reserved (shocking I know) and don't take chances. I have it in my mind 'Well if they don't respond it means they can't stand me.' Maybe that is true or not, but I'll never know if I don't take a chance. Trying to get myself to reach out more and tell people how I feel/get to know them better, but it isn't always easy for me.

I have always enjoyed using my skills more for friends and family than for my career. Seeing strangers smile is cool but having your loved ones beaming is so much more satisfying.
The meal depends on the attendees @Slopps . For you id start with a cast iron griddles brie. Crisp the rind let the insides melt. Served with roasted garlic croustades and an apricot caramelized onion compote with just a hint of sage.
Hard brine a porterhouse pork chop in apple cider cinnamon and shallots . Grill them. Served with a beer and cider gravy. Again for you. An augratin 4 cheese potato ... then what else but a cream cheese cake for dessert..... grills on!!!!
There have been a couple of people who sort of rubbed me the wrong way based on my interaction with them in the forums. I think it was due to me reading too much into their responses. After thinking on it more at the time I believe it was just a case of the person having fun/being sarcastic. I don't believe there was any ill intentions on the part of the other person. After all I tend to overanalyze everything and doing that with limited interactions in a forum setting probably wasn't a good idea.
I do my best to be an observant person. I try to pay attention to how people treat others (are they usually friendly and engaging or rude and dismissive), how accepting they are of new people who post, if they tend to cause or start drama, and if they are respectful or not. Obviously one can't read everything someone posts, but you get a fairly good idea how a person conducts theirselves here after a while.
Sometimes my observations about a person are correct, but there are other times when I have totally misjudged a person after interacting with them more.
I do think it is somewhat important that one is observant here. We all (well most of us) are here to have fun, interact, unwind, maybe be flirty and playful, and perhaps even make friends. While doing those things I think a person should be observant just as you would while interacting in a 'real world' environment. However, as I mentioned in my previous post, you can't always get the proper tone from text and can certainly misjudge a person's intention in what they post. That is why you have to be careful in characterizing a person unless they are disrespectful or a drama king/queen. Then all bets are off. : )

There are some times in the chat room where I just can't get into what people are talking about. I think our ideas about what this shared space is for differ. Perhaps there is age/experience difference that is a bit of a barrier...I'm not sure. However, I don't think it is crazy to dislike people. There are 7.3billion humans on planet earth...you would have to be some kind of ethereal super-being to understand/like/get along with all of them. [Trudeau is popular...but I just don't get it
