People who go "well why are you attracted to Butch women when you could date a man" it's ridiculous they don't understand the difference. Masculine women are not the same thing as dating men and the fact that I have to argue that to people even now is dumb.
I don't have an issue with harmless curiosity. My whole aesthetic is one giant question to people and the less questions I get the less irritated I get. It's not irritating to answer people, but when people are already asking about why i'm dressed up, where i'm going, where do you get your clothes etc. Switching to bisexual at least stops the whole "oh but what does pansexual mean, but does that mean you're attracted to XYZ" and lots of other questions that come with the pansexual thing. When someone asks that question, it's an invitation to ask anything that comes with sexuality and LGBT and people want to know the distinction between pansexual and bisexual. And people start asking me questions like i'm the authority on LGBT culture. If it's the time and place sure happy to answer, but usually when i'm in line at starbucks I just don't have the time usually.
