Trum.p supporters apparently made it over a barrier and are swarming the White House. Some have made it into the Senate. The Senators, VP, and house speaker have been evacuated

They have also found 2 pipe bombs so far . One in the House building the other at an RNC building. One woman has been shot inside the Capital building. The rioters say they want to occupy the building overnite . Well this is what Tr.ump and his allies have caused. All this over lies and an ego too big to admit defeat. It's a sad day for America but I'm not surprised at all.
 
Yeah I see local news and CNN's article that said two is gone . Must have only been one so far . They have responded to multiple reports. CNN and NBC local got it wrong it looks like.
 
Congress is proceeding with the joint session to confirm Biden's win. One person is dead . Some have been arrested and will go to federal prison at some point. And many people have been injured. And the end result will be what it always was going to be. Biden will be the next Presiden.t.
 
I wonder was it more arrogance or stupidity that made the rioters film themselves , post it to social media and take pics . Pics and vids of themselves committing federal and local crimes. One by one they all are getting arrested . Hmmm I go with a bad combination of both .
 
Besides the videos that have came out showing Capital police pulling aside fences for rioters, some claim they also gave them directions to offices. According to some members of Congress it's hard to find offices even if you work there . How did they find unmarked offices without help ? So I think they are are telling the truth.
 
There is another ' protest' planned for Inauguration Day . MPD has monitored accounts on social media again calling for violence. Some view what happened on the 6th as a success.

This thing is far from over. I've been discussing it with some of my fellow Canadian friends who think things will calm down and come back to normal but I don't believe that. There are already calls out there by them for "more action" about the 17th, I believe and to do everything they can to disrupt the inauguration. These are true believers. There is no moderation or thoughts of stepping back. And they are a million (or millions) strong. All the little pockets of militia groups, etc. have joined forces thanks to you know who and his conspiracies and endless rhetoric. And despite many Republicans jumping ship and denouncing violence, these true believers are too far gone. I think with all the other things going on, the U.S. is a powder keg and the fuse is lit.
