Why would I not be nice? I may not default to being Bi, but I have no reason to treat you badly just because you want to be yourself... if anything you should be mean to us, since most aren't so accepting of such things.

Yet, you're not being mean and -I should hope- none are being mean to you. So be who you want to whatever extent you want, if somebody doesn't like it then ignore/block them and go about your day.
