About to get out of bed... thinking about addiction. Yesterday I met someone with the worst case of alcoholism I've seen my entire life (I've seen a lot). She was the same age as me, 97 pounds, no teeth, swollen face, thinning hair, unable to eat, drinks A LOT every damn day. She easily looks like she's in her 60s. Definitely in my prayers.

Thinking about my uncle who's birthday would have been today. Suffering with the same problem @LillyK 's lady had. He was hit hard with his addiction, beat it, had a liver transplant, became a therapist and helped others with their addiction. But that damn demon kept on at him and ultimately, despite being told so many times, he drank himself to his grave
