GIF's not working

I'm having to reformat a lot of gifs I was able to post in the old chat, that I'm unable to post in the new chat. If it were easier to post gifs of varying format that'd be great. Otherwise, the new chat is great.

What you've used to format and which specs changed?
Browser used?
OS?
