Not sure if it's also an issue in the main chat, but a lot of times when I send a picture, the other person won't receive it. They'll have to prompt me to resend it for me to realize there's an error. This appears to happen even with smaller images (like 0.2 MB). Note: in the following screenshots, it says "Media no longer available" because I deleted it after I realized it didn't go through:
