Because outdated and not updatable for various reasons which can't be rectified.
Is there a way you can make it to where all the friends and followers you had on old chat transfer to new chat as well? I remember trying new chat and it kinda bummed me out a little to find out it didn't transfer but I do understand of there is a reason for it.

They'll transfer in time—when only new chat is in-service.

i also perfer the old chat room as i could pick and choose what pics i open and see and not having a bunch of dick pics shoved in me face
You should probably check the media settings.

What I really like about the old chat is the ability to see the country users are from. I'm Canadian and sometimes I just want to talk with other Canadians. I wish the new chat has that feature.

The only complaint I have is that the friends list isn't carried over that I can see, doesn't show anyone I have added in there, and makes it difficult as I have problems remembering who I have added and why, sorry if this is something that can't be handled, thats my only gripe, but it happened on another site too
I have the same issue :(

why get rid of something people were enjoying? Just try to control the men that enter the old room. Once a man is identified, ban them. Find a way to ensure some do not have many usernames or once banned, cannot rejoin the room using another username.

On August 15th until August 18th, we're temporarily disabling the old chat to get feedback on the progress made with the new chat software.

We've addressed a lot of the concerns form the previous old chat downtime thread and look forward to getting more suggestions.

Some of the major changes are:
  • Performance upgrades, for those that complained of lag, please let us know if any improvement.
  • Bug fixes, various quirks in the system have been addressed.
  • Layout changes.
Many of these changes have already taken effect, you can check them out live now in the new chat rooms, most of the visual changes will be incorporated next week.

Thanks!

Don't forget to check preferences and customize to your personal specifications, a lot of the feedback last time was related to individual taste, not problems with the software.

Need more information.

What's happening and what's not happening.
Which device are you using.
OS version.
Browser.

The point of this event is to gather specific feedback and reports of bugs. Developers can't use your feedback as-is.

If that's the point then it should be clearer in the opening post. It just asks for feedback, nothing specific. Your attitude in responses needs to change a little if you want to get people on board with the new chat. Look at what people are really saying.

Aesthetically the new chat is Micky Mouse and not as user friendly as the old chat. Sometimes you don't need to reinvent something to make it better but that seems to be what happened.
