Well, rim edge protectors do work. I just wish I wasn't so stingy with money and bought them sooner.
My mom got all set up with AccentCare for home hospice care. It gives me so much peace of mind to know she will be taken care of and be made comfortable as much as possible. I never wanted her to suffer in her last remaining time of living out her life until ALS decides to take it.
Just wanted to say that I realise this is an awful time that hopefully also offers you both precious time together. I once bought my mom a (Dutch) version of the book "Tell me your life story, mum". To have, for when I inevitably lose her. Perhaps this is something that you'd like to do, too. Thought I'd share.

We found out last year that my dad has dementia. We’re not to that point yet, but he is going down fast. So sorry for what you and your family is facing.

Had my hair cut appointment today and here's how short I went. It was down to my butt before.
Definitely chopped quite a bit off lol

Ya lol it feels good though. My head feels lighter if that makes sense. Not all over and wrapped around my arms now lol long hair can be nice but it can have its cons too
It makes sense especially if your hair was pretty thick, gets heavy having all that hair

I’m getting my hair cut back short in April for the summer. I always grow it out a little for the winter the get it cut back short for the summer
