I completely understand, Sista! I, too, have had firsts...never knowing, but hoping it will be oh so good, Delicious even. First, I am looking with my eyes, trying to decide what piece to have first...I mean the first taste is essential, right?
Then I want to touch it, to feel the texture. The texture is important because I don't want to choke 
Finally, I taste. Mmmmm I've chosen the best piece first and I am overwhelmed with mouth pleasure, so much so, I hesitate to keep indulging. I stop and remind myself I can come back for more. @PrincessPraise most definitely outdid herself.
