Too late I saw. And not only being a vegan but pretending you aren’t by having fake meat products hahaha
I specifically waited until I had local bakeries and burger places with plant-based options before I even attempted to give up meat haha

I'm all good now, my palette has changed and I actually like soy milk now which was a surprise after my initial disgust when I first tried it, haha
There's a good oatmilk iced mocha that the supermarket usually has that I'm enjoying recently though
What I don’t get is when you go to a vegetarian/vegan restaurant and they make the alternative look like meat.
On the plus side, drinking that much milk and sugar really wasn't good for me anyway

I get like patties in a burger. What I meant was I went to a restaurant and they made the tofu or wheat ever it was look like a chicken drumstick.
Makes the cultural touch points easier, lots of vegos who don't hate the taste and just don't eat meat for other reasons (animal cruelty, health, climate, or allergies usually) but still want the same food if possible.
Nice to be able to just order the same thing as always and get the plant-based option instead of no longer having any of your existing favourite foods available to you

There's a ramen bar down on the Gold Coast that we went to on holiday with some friends, and it's entirely vegan but doesn't really make it obvious. The seafood bao buns are so impossible to tell that one of our friends freaked out and double checked with the wait staff haha
